Carpets, like human, requires proper caretaking to ensure it is in perfect 'health'.
Here are some tips to take care of your carpet:
1. Vacuum your carpet regularly (at least once a week)
2. Don’t wet your carpet (make sure the floor is dry after mopping, then lay back your carpet)
3. Every 2-3 years send your carpet for washing. (send it to trusted carpet cleaning
companies)
4. To even out Traffic wear, rotate your carpet every 6-9 Months and use furniture cups under sharp and heavy furniture legs to prevent pile crushing of carpet.
5. In case water is spilled on your carpet use paper towels , a sponge or towel to absorb as much of the moisture as possible from two side of the carpet if your carpet is damp, sunning is recommended for drying.
6. Don’t try to remove stains from carpet by your self, consult your retailer for advice.
7. Use an under layer (antislide) to prevent the carpet form sliding.
